Job Description

Faculty in the Workforce Solutions Division of Meridian Community College are integral representatives of the institution. As such, faculty are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner that speaks to the quality and integrity of the institution. Faculty are expected to embrace the community college “open door” philosophy, helping all students reach their maximum potential and celebrating diversity.

Required Qualifications

A master’s or higher degree with a major in nursing. Must hold educational qualifications and experience as required by local, state, and national accrediting bodies and are qualified to teach the assigned nursing courses.
Skills that commensurate with RN licensure.
At least one-year clinical experience as a registered nurse.
Ability to work well with faculty, staff, students, and community members.
Must hold an unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Mississippi.

Preferred Qualifications

Three years of related experience preferred.
